Patriot Appliance Repair was founded in 2022 by Steven May, a Placer County appliance technician with a simple mission: bring honest, skilled, personal appliance repair to the Auburn area — the kind of service where the person who answers the phone is the same person who shows up at your door.

As a locally owned, owner-operated business, there are no dispatchers, no subcontractors, and no rotating cast of technicians. Steven personally handles every diagnosis and every repair, from a simple dryer fix to a complete sealed-system rebuild on a built-in refrigerator. He is EPA 608 certified with specialized training in refrigeration and sealed systems — experience most residential repair technicians simply don't have.
